about me

Adam G. Fischer

I am a hopeful cynic.  I know that sounds odd, but my hope is found in Jesus Christ, but I find that my natural default is cynicism.

I am a flawed disciple of Jesus, a husband to Holly and a father to Nicholas and Wyatt.

I have experience in the areas of vocational ministry, sales, non-profit leadership and just recently government.  I love to network with people, oversee event planning, create a vision, and participate in implementing a strategy.

I have also worked in various ministry leadership capacities both vocationally and as a volunteer. I have done campus ministry, youth ministry, and pastoral ministry along with participating in leadership development within ministry circles. I have worked with Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield, WI for a number of years and I have also worked as the Executive Director of a Youth For Christ in North Central Wisconsin. I was also the Executive Director for The Hope Initiative and the Director of Development for the National Network of Youth Ministries.  I am currently on the Board of Directors for the North Central Fellowship of Christian Athletes and I am an active member of my church missions team.

I am also the Executive Director of the Central Wisconsin State Fair, which is based in central Wisconsin and I am on the Wood County Board of Supervisors as the District 5 Supervisor.

I love spending time with my family, I love to read and I love to write. I write both short stories and poetry. I also enjoy playing mini golf among other things. I have an interest in theology, discipleship, church planting, adoption, foster care, human services, economic development, politics, poetry, marketing and fund development.
